About
Security engineer and full-stack developer with 20+ years writing code across the stack — from product interfaces down to the kernel layer where most people stop looking. Based in Las Vegas.
The work here sits at the intersection of detection engineering, AI security, and supply chain threats. I build tools when existing ones don't do what I need, write about incidents I've actually worked, and try to make the thinking visible — not just the output.
What I focus on
The other stuff
Not everything here is security, but I do build with security in mind. I build flight simulators, retro operating systems, video synthesizers, and drum machines — because some problems are interesting purely for the sake of being interesting. If that sounds like a waste of time, we probably won't get along.
I produce music manually (no offense, Suno). I write generative visual art under a separate alias. I've been known to spend an unreasonable number of hours on a shader that will be seen by approximately nobody. This is fine.
